Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ceasar Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ceasar Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ceasar Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roger Gracie has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ceasar Silva.

Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
