Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mika Kallio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Boon 2 (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon 2 has chosen Teach me how daugie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bam Boon 2 will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon 2 fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Boon 2, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boon 2 throws a right and a left that Kallio avoids nicely.
Boon 2 misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Boon 2 falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kallio counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Kallio counters with a nice body shot.
Boon 2 looks winded!
Boon 2 swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kallio counters with a good low kick that Boon 2 was not able to check.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kallio instigates a clinch.
Boon 2 is trying to force a seperation but Kallio has the dominant position.

Kallio is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boon 2 can't fight it off and eventually Kallio manages to take the fight to the floor. Boon 2 looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and Kallio counters with a nice low kick that buckles Boon 2's knee momentarily.
Boon 2 throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Kallio counter with a right hand.
Kallio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kallio shoots in but Boon 2 avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kallio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kallio seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Kallio decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Boon 2 throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Kallio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Boon 2 won't be happy with that.

Kallio has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Kallio counters with a good low kick that Boon 2 was not able to check.
Kallio looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boon 2 throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kallio.

Boon 2 tries to bum rush Kallio with a series of wild strikes but Kallio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Kallio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Kallio stands up out of the half guard.
Kallio throws a head kick but Boon 2 moves out of range.
Boon 2 keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mika Kallio. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boon 2 throws a nice looking combination but Kallio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kallio manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Boon 2 on his heels. He'll look to pass Boon 2's guard now, I'm sure.
Kallio wants to stand but Boon 2 has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kallio decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kallio shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kallio lands a leg kick that knocks Boon 2 off balance momentarily.
Boon 2 throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kallio is looking to chop away at Boon 2's legs.

and Kallio counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kallio.

Kallio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boon 2 throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kallio decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boon 2's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kallio stands and steps away. Boon 2 gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kallio lands a jab.

Kallio tries to clinch up but Boon 2 circles away and keeps his distance.

Boon 2 is still on wobbly legs! Can Kallio finish him?

and Kallio holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Kallio drags the fight down to the ground.
Kallio is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kallio postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Boon 2 to stand up.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Kallio! This one is all over!
