Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladislav Kashkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sid Vicious!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kashkin drives through and clinches with Vicious against the cage.
Kashkin slows down the pace here.
Vicious fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vicious is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kashkin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kashkin is pushing down on Vicious's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vicious is fighting to maintain full guard but Kashkin has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kashkin wants to work for an arm triangle but Vicious is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Sid Vicious seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kashkin forces Vicious back against the cage and clinches.

Kashkin tightens his grip and picks Vicious up, before dumping him to the ground. Vicious manages to land in guard.

Kashkin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Vicious throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kashkin escapes and throws Vicious's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Vicious is looking to get back to his feet here but Kashkin is keeping cool and he's managed to take Vicious's back.

Vicious is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Kashkin is riding his opponent, not letting Vicious buck him off.
Kashkin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Kashkin has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Nice straight punches there by Vicious. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vicious.
Vicious throws a right hand that Kashkin ducks under and follows up with a left that Kashkin also avoids with ease.

Kashkin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vicious to the mat! Vicious manages to get full guard.
Kashkin wants to control from the top but Vicious keeps moving.
Kashkin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kashkin is pushing down on Vicious's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vicious is fighting to maintain full guard but Kashkin has managed to sneak the leg through.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
You can see the frustration on Vicious's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kashkin advances nicely into full mount.
Kashkin prevents Vicious from getting the reversal.
Kashkin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Vicious is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kashkin has hold of Vicious's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vicious manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kashkin is landing with some decent strikes but Vicious is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
