Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Ribero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michihiro Bukake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bukake 's choice of entrance music: Primo Victoria. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bukake throws a shot from downtown. Ribero moves away and avoids it.

Ribero scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Ribero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bukake doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ribero.

Ribero is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribero passes the guard and advances to mount!
Ribero is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Bukake regains half guard.
Bukake is looking for a sweep. Ribero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bukake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ribero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ribero drops an elbow to the side of Bukake 's head.

Bukake is defending against the submission attempts here by Ribero.

Ribero is working for a kimura here but Bukake manages to reverse the position and he's now in Ribero's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ribero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bukake is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ribero has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bukake is looking to defend but Ribero has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bukake ! Ribero pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bukake taps out and this one is all over!
