The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grigory Popandopulus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Standley throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Popandopulus's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Standley dives in looking to finish as Popandopulus flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Standley's strikes! Standley is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Popandopulus's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Popandopulus was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
