Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher stuffs the takedown attempt from Campbell. Campbell gets slowly back to his feet.
Campbell looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Campbell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fisher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Campbell has managed to get both his arms back between Fisher's legs - danger averted.

Fisher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Campbell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Campbell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fisher has his foot on Campbell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Campbell works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fisher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Campbell pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Fisher will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Campbell up against the cage.

Marques Campbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Fisher.
Fisher lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Fisher gets control of Campbell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fisher will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fisher is pushing Campbell up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Campbell is pressed up against the cage. Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Campbell down to the mat. Campbell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Campbell tries to keep at a distance but Fisher has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fisher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Campbell but Campbell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Campbell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fisher's waist but Fisher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Campbell off to one side.

Fisher is staying active underneath Campbell, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marques Campbell.

Fisher lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Marques Campbell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fisher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Campbell is fending him off so far but Fisher persists. Nope, Campbell circles away and we're back to standing.

Campbell shoots in for a takedown but Fisher shows good takedown defense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marques Campbell will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Campbell has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fisher after a bit of a struggle.

Jeremy Fisher has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fisher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Fisher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
