Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maikon Kelvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Ricotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelvin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ricotta wants to clinch.
Ricotta misses with a takedown
and Kelvin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kelvin.
Kelvin pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Ricotta is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kelvin has had enough of the clinch but Ricotta keeps him there for the moment.
Kelvin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Kelvin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ricotta's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ricotta wants to get back to full guard.

Kelvin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Ricotta trying to control but Kelvin postures up.
Maikon Kelvin has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kelvin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ricotta can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kelvin controls the pace.

Ricotta is looking to sweep but instead, Kelvin has passed into half guard.
Kelvin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Ricotta to stand up.
Ricotta wants to land a leg kick but Kelvin is out of range.
Kelvin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ricotta.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelvin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kelvin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kelvin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some bone on bone action there as Ricotta checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ricotta shoots in for a takedown but Kelvin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Maikon Kelvin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocco Ricotta.
Ricotta ducks under a wild hook from Kelvin.

Ricotta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ricotta looks winded!
Kelvin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ricotta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kelvin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You can see the frustration on Ricotta's face as Kelvin controls the position.

Kelvin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ricotta!
Ricotta has given up his back here.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Kelvin controlling the positon.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kelvin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kelvin gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kelvin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ricotta is looking to get back to is feet but Kelvin passes into side control.
Kelvin lands a few punches from side control.
You can see the frustration on Ricotta's face as Kelvin controls the position.
Ricotta is looking for a sweep.
Kelvin decides to stand back up. Kelvin steps back and let's Ricotta get back to his feet.
Maikon Kelvin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kelvin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ricotta to the mat! Ricotta manages to get full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kelvin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kelvin passes Ricotta's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ricotta trying to control but Kelvin postures up.
Ricotta is breathing heavily.
Ground and pound from Kelvin.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kelvin in particular looking to stall.
Kelvin is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Kelvin throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ricotta has his hands clasped together but Kelvin breaks the hold and Ricotta is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kelvin!
