The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Sudo.

Leonardo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sudo.
Sudo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sudo trying to control the position but Leonardo is working away.
Leonardo stops Sudo from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sudo cracks Leonardo with a big right hand but Leonardo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Leonardo is trying to control Sudo's posture but Sudo avoids it.
Sudo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Leonardo is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Sudo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Leonardo is pushing Sudo's head away, looking to escape. Sudo manages to hold on to the position though.
Leonardo sneaks back into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sudo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Leonardo!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leonardo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sudo throws out the jab.

Sudo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Leonardo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Sudo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leonardo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sudo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh Sudo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A slapping leg kick lands for Leonardo.
Sudo seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Leonardo lands a leg kick that knocks Sudo off balance momentarily.
Sudo steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Leonardo. That one must have hurt.
Leonardo feints and then cracks Sudo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sudo down.

Leonardo pounces like a tiger and cracks Sudo with a vicious hook! Sudo is down but not out! Leonardo follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
