The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salty lands a nice hook to Winslow's body. Winslow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Winslow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Salty paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Salty takes a swing at Winslow's ribcage but misses.
A left lands for Salty.
Salty lands with an uppercut that bounces Winslow off the cage and back into range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salty fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Winslow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Salty rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Winslow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Winslow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Salty lands a left and a right that send Winslow crashing to the mat, dazed. Salty thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Winslow is rocked!

It looks like Shane Winslow has been cut.
Winslow is breathing heavily.
OH! Winslow has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Salty smells blood and charges in for the finish! Salty unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Winslow sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Elmo Salty was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
