Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ovaltrades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaMotta has chosen Cavalleria Rusticana: Intermezzo as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Ovaltrades!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake LaMotta!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ovaltrades pushes LaMotta up against the cage in a clinch.

LaMotta lands a takedown into guard.
LaMotta trying to control the position from guard on top but Ovaltrades is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
LaMotta throwing strikes but missing.
LaMotta preventing the sweep.
LaMotta wants to control from the top but Ovaltrades keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
LaMotta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
LaMotta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ovaltrades. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ovaltrades had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. LaMotta defends it easily.
LaMotta looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ovaltrades is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and LaMotta defends well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ovaltrades is on top in guard.

Ovaltrades might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

LaMotta has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ovaltrades can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
LaMotta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ovaltrades stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LaMotta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ovaltrades's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ovaltrades is going oldschool here, as he tries to force LaMotta to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so LaMotta shrugs it off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ovaltrades lands a big shot there that rocks LaMotta but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ovaltrades drops back looking for a leg! LaMotta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LaMotta manages to kick Ovaltrades off! Ovaltrades jumps back into LaMotta's guard.

Ovaltrades is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ovaltrades tries to free his leg and advance position but LaMotta is retaining full guard.
LaMotta can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ovaltrades controls the pace.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jack Ovaltrades just wasn't active enough.

Ovaltrades drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ovaltrades engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Ovaltrades seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down LaMotta for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Jack Ovaltrades wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
LaMotta tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ovaltrades swats him away and circles back towards the center.

LaMotta feints and as Ovaltrades raises his hands in defense, LaMotta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ovaltrades pulls LaMotta in close to prevent any damage.
LaMotta throwing strikes but missing.
LaMotta trying to control but Ovaltrades is working from the bottom.

Ovaltrades is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

LaMotta closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - LaMotta lands in his opponent's guard.
LaMotta is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ovaltrades has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think LaMotta should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ovaltrades has tightened it up now! LaMotta should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
