The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miranovic scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Miranovic trying to control the position but Jackson is working away.

Miranovic decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jackson to his feet.
Miranovic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Miranovic, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Miranovic against the cage but Miranovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Miranovic moves out of range easily.
Miranovic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miranovic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but Miranovic persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing.
Miranovic shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Miranovic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Miranovic drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miranovic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miranovic is controlling him.
Miranovic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jackson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miranovic's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.

Jackson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Miranovic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Miranovic tries to clinch up.
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miranovic tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miranovic to the ground. Miranovic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson darts in and clinches Miranovic up against the cage.
Jackson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Stalling in the clinch from Jackson.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Jackson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Miranovic wants a takedown but no success here.
Miranovic tries to land knees in the clinch but Jackson avoids the damage to the body.
Jackson looking to throw knees to the head but Miranovic is blocking nicely.

Jackson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Miranovic is keeping busy.

Jackson breaks the clinch.

Miranovic shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Miranovic finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miranovic is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.
Jackson is not content to let Miranovic control the position.
Miranovic stops Jackson from getting back to his feet.

Miranovic wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jackson tries to kick Miranovic off in order to stand up. Miranovic Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Miranovic lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jackson down.
Jackson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Miranovic has an Americana. Jackson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Miranovic is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Miranovic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
