The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silver tries to bum rush Janssen with a series of wild strikes but Janssen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silver misses with a jab to the body
and Silver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Janssen doesn't manage to clinch there - Silver circles away.
Janssen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Janssen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silver throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Janssen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Silver ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Janssen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Janssen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Silver will probably get the nod.
