The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooh!!! Gaffney has knocked Godbeard down with a huge combo! Gaffney steps away and waves a wobbly Godbeard back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Robin Godbeard has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gaffney chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Godbeard can pounce on him.
Gaffney takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gaffney swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Godbeard.
Godbeard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gaffney scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Godbeard is rocked!
Gaffney shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Godbeard as he jumps to the side.
Gaffney misses with a looping left.
A head kick by Godbeard misses
and Gaffney counters with a left and a right... And another left! Godbeard is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamish Gaffney!
