The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Glaz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Glaz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Glaz lands an elbow.

Glaz is working to tighten is grip on Smith's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smith has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Glaz is really squeezing tight and eventually Smith passes out! Glaz breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
