Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Azuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahavir Ramanujam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramanujam has chosen Shiva in Exile - Ha'nadi as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramanujam scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Azuma shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Azuma showed some decent athleticism there.

Azuma is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ramanujam has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Azuma is looking to defend but Ramanujam has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Azuma! Ramanujam pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Azuma taps out and this one is all over!
