Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fancy Mcghee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mcghee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wake Me Up. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ferguson's choice of entrance music: POWER. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcghee throws a head kick that misses.
A big left from Ferguson misses.

Ferguson walks into a jab.

It looks like Brock Ferguson has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ferguson is defended easily by Mcghee.
Ferguson just misses with a punch to the body.
Mcghee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferguson moves away.
A jab from Mcghee finds it's way through Ferguson's defenses.
Ferguson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ferguson misses with an uppercut
and Mcghee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mcghee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ferguson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferguson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mcghee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mcghee.

Mcghee throws a hook but Ferguson avoids it easily.

Ferguson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcghee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ferguson is in Mcghee's guard.

Mcghee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Mcghee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mcghee.

Ferguson dives in and scores a takedown into Mcghee's guard.

Brock Ferguson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mcghee throws a hook to the side of Ferguson's head but Ferguson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferguson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mcghee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Ferguson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcghee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mcghee is looking to reverse the position.
The ground and pound from Ferguson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Mcghee bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Fancy Mcghee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Ferguson.

and Mcghee counters with a nice leg kick.
Fancy Mcghee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ferguson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcghee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Mcghee counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ferguson thinking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mcghee jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

That has opened up Brock Ferguson's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mcghee drops Ferguson with a huge uppercut! Ferguson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Mcghee is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
