Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Usain Bolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rikishi Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Usain Bolt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rikishi Honda!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolt fails with a takedown attempt.
Bolt moves out of range of the body kick.

Honda scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Honda wants to stand but Bolt has his arm trapped.
Bolt tries to bench press Honda off him but Honda keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Honda seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Honda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Honda tries to stand but Bolt is controlling his head.

Bolt defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Honda's arms.

Bolt is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Honda.
Honda's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Bolt is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Honda keeps control of the position easily here as Bolt tries to buck him off.

Bolt successfully pulls guard.
Honda wants to control from the top but Bolt keeps moving.
Honda has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bolt is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rikishi Honda.
Bolt closes the distance and clinches up with Honda, looking for a takedown. Bolt pushes Honda against the cage but Honda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Honda clinches with his opponent.
Bolt jumps guard but Honda stands there with Bolt around his waist. Bolt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Honda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Honda closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bolt quickly recovers to half guard.
Honda seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Honda landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Honda tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bolt controls his leg.
Honda trying to pass the guard but Bolt defending well.
Honda not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Honda is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bolt is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Bolt is trying desperately to improve position.
Honda is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Honda controlling the position easily from mount.
Honda breaks from Bolt's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Honda wants to finish this one by submission but Bolt is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Honda.
Honda lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Honda working for a guillotine from mount but Bolt is in no mood to give up.
Honda tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rikishi Honda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Honda shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Honda wants to stand up but Bolt has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Honda takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Honda has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bolt trying to control here.
Honda passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bolt!
Honda postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bolt looks a forlorn figure.

Honda is looking to stand but Honda has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Honda wants to control the pace but Bolt is squirming around nicely.
Honda controlling the pace for now.
Honda breaks from Bolt's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Honda moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bolt has worked his arm free - good work by Bolt!
Honda wants to control but Bolt is keeping him busy.

Honda wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bolt keeps working.

Honda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Honda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bolt can't do much from the bottom here.

Honda scores with a couple of short elbows.

Honda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bolt knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Honda trying to control the position but Bolt is working away.

Honda is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bolt has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rikishi Honda has got the better of the ground game so far.
Honda is chipping away with strikes.

Bolt is trying to control Honda's posture but Honda avoids it.

Rikishi Honda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Honda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
