Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rau Utu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bako King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rau Utu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bako King!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Utu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.
Utu throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
King lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Rau Utu has been cut.
King misses with the combination.
King with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Utu to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Utu.
Utu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Utu connects with a nice looking jab.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Utu as he jumps to the side.
King scores with a punch to the head.
King takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
King moves out of range of the body kick from Utu.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King.

Utu slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rau Utu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bako King.
Utu is looking to slow King down with leg kicks.

King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Utu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

King postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
King is looking to work some ground and pound but Utu has wrist control.
King trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
King looking to sit in guard and control but Utu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Utu defends it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

King has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Utu doesn't defend quickly enough and King has managed to lock this one up! Can Utu escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to King on a fantastic submission victory.

Bako King decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
