The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurucz throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mendes shoots in for a takedown but Kurucz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mendes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kurucz to score with a decent uppercut.
Kurucz throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Mendes crashing down! Mendes tries to stagger back to his feet but Kurucz just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Mendes asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
