The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cambiasso tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
Jones moves into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jones.
Cambiasso tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position.
Cambiasso is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cambiasso looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Cambiasso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones gets control of Cambiasso's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Cambiasso is having none of it.
Jones is pulling down on Cambiasso's head. It's preventing any offense from Cambiasso, at least for the moment.
Jones is looking to stand up but Cambiasso isn't so interested in that idea.
Jones pulls Cambiasso in close to his closed guard and prevents Cambiasso from doing any damage or advancing position.
Cambiasso is sitting in close to Jones's body. Jones has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cambiasso is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cambiasso is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jones.
