The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grove clinches up against the cage.
Grove tries to work over Leveen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Leveen lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Leveen lands a shoulder strike.
Leveen gets underhooks to prevent Grove's takedown attempt.

Leveen manages to break the clinch.

Leveen closes the distance and pushes Grove back into the cage.

Grove has had enough of the clinch but Leveen keeps him there for the moment.

Grove is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Grove scores with a one two! Leveen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Grove tries to keep at a distance but Leveen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Grove throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leveen.
Grove throws a right hand that Leveen ducks under and follows up with a left that Leveen also avoids with ease.

Leveen has Grove up against the cage in a clinch.

Leveen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Leveen lands a big head kick that sends Grove tumbling to the mat! Leveen takes a step backwards and waves Grove back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Grove fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Leveen avoids it really well and circles away.

BAM! Leveen delivers a spinning backfist that drops Grove like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

David Leveen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
