The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brode throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brode closes the distance and clinches up with Trayge, looking for a takedown. Brode pushes Trayge against the cage but Trayge circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
An inside leg kick from Trayge misses.
Brode fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trayge avoids it really well and circles away.
Brode swings for the body but Trayge moves out of range.

Trayge wants to clinch but Brode slips to the side
and Brode makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Trayge throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Brode shoots in looking for a takedown but Trayge manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brode's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Trayge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brode can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
