The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blimm takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Blimm looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well.
Blimm takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Williams is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blimm had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Blimm wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Williams tries to kick Blimm off but Blimm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Williams has one foot on Blimm's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Blimm closes the distance and clinches.
Blimm misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Williams.

Blimm breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Williams dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's time! Blimm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Blimm lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Williams!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Williams is looking to control Blimm's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted?

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Blimm.
I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
