Pope looking to score a takedown here. Richard is defending well but Pope drives through and ends up in Richard's guard.
Pope content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Pope slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Richard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pope can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pope is sitting in close to Richard's body. Richard has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pope is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pope is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Richard.
