The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelvin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelvin wants it to stay on the feet.
Lionti tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lionti closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kelvin circles away.

Lionti gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kelvin to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kelvin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kelvin doesn't manage to clinch there - Lionti circles away.
Kelvin tries to land a front kick but Lionti steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lionti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kelvin pinned against the cage. Kelvin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Felipe Kelvin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hippi Lionti.
Kelvin slips a jab and a cross from Lionti.
Lionti swats away the attempt to clinch by Kelvin.
Lionti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kelvin paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lionti moves in looking to clinch but Kelvin pushes him off.
Kelvin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lionti.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelvin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kelvin showed some decent athleticism there.

Lionti is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kelvin pulls his head out easily.

Lionti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kelvin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
