Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze lands a jab to the head.

durang drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Blaze is trying to control durang's posture but durang avoids it.
Blaze tries to improve position but can't.
Blaze is looking to work his way out of this bad position but durang is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blaze is not content to let durang control the position.

durang decides to stand up, so the ref orders Blaze to his feet.

Blaze throws a jab when durang was well out of range.

durang closes the distance and clinches.
Blaze tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

durang creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blaze sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

durang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Blaze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

durang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
durang throws a right and a left that Blaze avoids nicely.
Josh Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

durang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Blaze tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
durang is pressed up against the cage. Blaze has hold of a leg and is looking to drag durang down to the mat. durang avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Blaze has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. durang avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Blaze tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. durang just stands there and leans against the cage.

Blaze is fighting off a takedown attempt but durang is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Blaze to the mat. Blaze regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

durang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Blaze isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. durang stacks Blaze on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by durang!

Blaze might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control durang kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
