Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wai Man Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into West's guard.
West is trying to keep Li in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Li drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Li jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Li sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed West's guard.
Li is keen to just control but West is a slippery customer.

Li takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
