Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hawkins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.

It looks like Justin Jones has been cut.
Jones tries to clinch up
and Hawkins counters with a straight right hand.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hawkins.
Hawkins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hawkins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hawkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hawkins wants it to stay on the feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hawkins misses with a two punch combination.
Hawkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hawkins off to one side.

Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hawkins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hawkins takes a kick to the side of the head.

Hawkins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hawkins tries to score with some ground and pound. Jones controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Jones is looking to reverse the position.

Hawkins has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jones is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hawkins yanks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hawkins.
