Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago De Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Teale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Teale is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santiago De Jesus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Teale!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - De Jesus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

De Jesus rushes Teale and presses him up against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from De Jesus.
Teale wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
De Jesus tries to land knees in the clinch but Teale avoids the damage to the body.

Teale is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Teale is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

De Jesus lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by De Jesus.

Teale keeps the fight in the clinch, despite De Jesus's efforts to push away.

Teale shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. De Jesus defends it nicely.

A close round but Dave Teale will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


De Jesus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Teale back to the cage. De Jesus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

De Jesus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Teale circles away from the clinch attempt.
Teale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Teale escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Jesus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Santiago De Jesus.

and Teale counters with a single leg into guard. De Jesus didn't expect that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Teale loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Teale engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Teale sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed De Jesus's guard.
Teale with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Dave Teale has got the better of the ground game so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dave Teale was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Teale looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Teale has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from De Jesus.

Teale closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. De Jesus quickly recovers to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Teale content just to control the position here.
Teale lands a heavy elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

De Jesus holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Teale tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dave Teale comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Teale has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
