Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Eyed Peas - Bebot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Vera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Harris!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris blocks a head kick by Vera.
Vera throws a leg kick which misses Harris's front leg but catches the back leg as Harris tries to avoid it.
Harris connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Vera throws a head kick that Harris semi-blocks.
Harris throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vera throws a nice outside leg kick.
Harris sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris checks a leg kick.
Vera moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Vera throws out a powerful jab.
Vera thumps Harris with a low kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Harris checks a leg kick.
Vera lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Vera staying out of range there.
Vera thuds his shin into the meat of Harris's side.
Vera swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Harris takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
An inside leg kick lands from Vera.
Harris steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vera. That one must have hurt.
Harris looks winded!
Vera connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vera cracks the inside of Harris's front leg.
Vera chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vera goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Paul Harris has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vera lands a head kick. Harris smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Harris takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Vera avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Harris. Vera does a little dance to reset his feet.
Whack! Vera lands a heavy head kick that drops Harris. The ref tackles Vera to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Harris was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Michael Vera!
Michael Vera decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
