Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawike has a takedown stuffed.

Kawike bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kawike scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Planet to see if he's OK.
Planet regains half guard.
Planet is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kawike's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kawike's back!

Kawike is in a bad position with Planet working for a choke. Kawike manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Kawike working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Planet's head.

Planet keeping busy on the bottom but Kawike has passed one foot through into half guard.
Kawike has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Planet is looking to improve his position.

Kawike is trying to control the action in half guard but Planet is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Planet is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kawike scores with a couple of nice shots.

Kawike wants to lay and pray for a moment but Planet keeps working.
Planet is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Planet manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Kawike is looking for a kimura but Planet is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kawike to get the leverage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Planet manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Planet is breathing heavily.
Kawike stopping the sweep attempt from Planet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kawike is in close to Planet's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Planet throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kawike escapes and throws Planet's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Planet tries to bench press Kawike off him but Kawike keeps the position.

Planet is not content to let Kawike control the position.
Kawike lands some shots froms side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kawike wants to lay and pray for a moment but Planet keeps working.
Planet looks to move to half guard but instead Kawike has passed into mount! Damn!
Kawike scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Planet is desperately trying to improve his position but Kawike has a good base and remains in mount.
Kawike manages to capitalize on a mistake by Planet to take his back!
Planet is taking damage to the body and head.
Planet can't escape the position.
Kawike lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Planet.

Kawike is looking for the choke from the back position but Planet is controlling his hands well.
Planet tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kileki Kawike dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kawike fails with the takedown.

Planet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Planet goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kawike turns into him and now he's in Planet's guard.

Kawike slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Planet is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kawike pulls his head out easily.
Planet trying to get back to full guard but Kawike takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Planet is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Planet is squirming around, avoiding Kawike's attempts to control the action.

Kawike is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Planet is forced to tap! Great finish!
