Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Icaro Asas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joilton Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogueira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. TUF Brasil kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira closes the distance and clinches.
Nogueira crunches a lovely knee into Asas's ribcage.
Nogueira lands an elbow inside.
Asas blocks an elbow strike from Nogueira.
Asas is trying to maintain a safe position but Nogueira gets an underhook and turns Asas into the cage.
Asas drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nogueira would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nogueira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Asas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Asas throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Asas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Asas throws an elbow that misses. Nogueira uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Asas's guard. Nice move by Nogueira!
Asas will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Asas is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Nogueira frees his head nicely. Oh but Asas has switched to an armbar! Nogueira is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
