The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker wants to clinch but Copello slips to the side
enabling Copello to counter with a crisp jab.
Tucker tries to work over Copello's front leg with a kick but Copello checks it.
Tucker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tucker misses with a straight right.
Tucker thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tucker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tucker misses with a double jab.
Jake Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tucker throws a leg kick that is checked
and Copello cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tucker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tucker throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Tucker swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Copello throws a series of punches but Tucker avoids them all with ease.

Copello uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tucker.

Tucker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Copello fails to land with a series of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tucker feints and then cracks Copello's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Copello down.

Tucker is trying to break the clinch but Copello is controlling him.

A frustrated look appears on Tucker's face as he tries to break the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Copello.
Tucker is trying to push Copello away but Copello has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Tucker blocks a body shot from Copello.
Tucker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Copello for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Copello's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tucker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Copello swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tucker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Copello throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tucker.
Jake Tucker seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Tucker misses with a few strikes there.
Copello avoids a punch combination nicely.
Copello checks a leg kick nicely.
Tucker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tucker misses with a hook.
Tucker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Copello.
Tucker scores with the left hand. Copello knows he should have avoided that one.

The referee is keeping an eye on Copello - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tucker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Copello manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Tucker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tucker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tucker.

Tucker ducks right into an uppercut from Copello.
Tucker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tucker fails to land with a series of punches.
Tucker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A combination from Tucker does no damage.
Tucker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tucker lands a leg kick that knocks Copello off balance momentarily.
Tucker scores with a decent looking hook.
Tucker tries a head kick but it misses.
Copello looks to land a left hand but Tucker moved out of range nicely.

Tucker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Copello has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Tucker lands a jab to Copello's midsection.
Tucker closes the distance but Copello moves to the side

and Copello counters with a left and a right that hurts Tucker! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Copello jumps into full mount!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Copello content just to control the position here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tucker is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jake Tucker will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Tucker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Copello moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Copello counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Tucker! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
