Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Mathison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathison comes into the arena with The Sickness blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bert Cooper was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Mathison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bert Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Mathison.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Mathison.
Mathison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mathison ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mathison defending well as Cooper loads up on a big left hand.
Cooper misses with a body shot.
Mathison digs a good body shot into Cooper's ribs.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mathison.
Cooper looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mathison tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cooper throws a lazy uppercut
and Mathison counters with a head kick that drops Cooper to the mat! Cooper scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Cooper is rocked!
Mathison uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooper.
Cooper is still on wobbly legs! Can Mathison finish him?
Cooper misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cooper seems to have recovered his senses.
Mathison shoots in looking for a takedown. Cooper tries to sprawl out of it but Mathison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cooper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cooper misses with a jab, cross combination.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Mathison throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Cooper is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). David Mathison!
David Mathison tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
