Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Quin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuel Rodriguez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez shoots in but Quin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rodriguez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quin tries to avoid it but Rodriguez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quin to the ground. Quin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
