Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Ler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Rostowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ler comes into the arena with Rise of the fallen blaring out of the sound system. Rostowski has chosen VITER - Marichka as his entrance music. Andrzej Rostowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jacky Ler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrzej Rostowski!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ler gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ler is pressed up against the cage. Rostowski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ler down to the mat. Ler avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rostowski looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ler scores with a decent looking hook.
Rostowski keeps the fight on the outside.

Ler tries to throw a body punch but Rostowski avoids it by throwing Ler back against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Ler - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rostowski tries for a takedown but Ler manages to get underhooks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ler lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ler lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rostowski backwards.

Andrzej Rostowski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rostowski shoots in for a takedown but Ler shows good takedown defense.

Ler trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ler creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Rostowski gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ler regains guard.

Jacky Ler showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
