Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samson Miodek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Yamazawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamazawa has chosen Avicii - Silhouettes as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samson Miodek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kazushi Yamazawa!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miodek instigates a clinch.
Yamazawa missing with knees to the body.
Miodek lands a body shot.

Yamazawa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miodek clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Miodek might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Yamazawa doesn't have the hooks in and Miodek manages to turn into his guard.

Yamazawa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miodek is controlling him.
Miodek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Samson Miodek wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Miodek misses with a two punch combination.
Miodek's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Miodek duly obliges.

It looks like Kazushi Yamazawa has been cut.
Miodek throws a leg kick which misses Yamazawa's front leg but catches the back leg as Yamazawa tries to avoid it.
Yamazawa moves out of range as Miodek throws a body kick.

Yamazawa takes one on the button.
Miodek stalks Yamazawa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Yamazawa's face. Yamazawa staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miodek throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yamazawa.

Miodek closes the distance and clinches.

Yamazawa tries to pull guard but Miodek holds him up against the cage and eventually Yamazawa drops back down to his feet.
A short body shot lands from Miodek as the two fighters clinch.
Miodek gets underhooks to prevent Yamazawa's takedown attempt.

Samson Miodek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazushi Yamazawa.

Miodek lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Miodek lands with a right to the head.
Miodek is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Miodek lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yamazawa backwards.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Miodek takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That has opened up Kazushi Yamazawa's cut even more.
Miodek lands with a left to the head.
Miodek makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yamazawa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Miodek prevents it.

Miodek digs a right hand into Yamazawa's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Yamazawa's gas tank.

Yamazawa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Miodek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice straight punches there by Miodek. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Miodek.

Miodek clinches up against the cage.
Yamazawa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Miodek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Left hook, right uppercut from Miodek.

The cut above Kazushi Yamazawa's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A nice leg kick lands there from Miodek.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Miodek throws a left that rocks Yamazawa and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Miodek dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Yamazawa regain composure!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miodek remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Samson Miodek.

Kazushi Yamazawa's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kazushi Yamazawa's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
