Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordy Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denny Smith looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith slips a jab from Richardson.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Richardson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Richardson.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith throws a hook to the side of Richardson's head but Richardson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Richardson sprawls well.

Richardson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smith can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
