Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John The Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Diaz's choice of entrance music: It's Good. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Butcher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The Butcher blocks a low kick nicely.
The Butcher moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
No luck for The Butcher with that takedown attempt.
Diaz throws a head kick but The Butcher moves out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Diaz.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as The Butcher checks a leg kick.
Diaz misses with a kick to the body.
The Butcher has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The Butcher takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Diaz feints and then cracks The Butcher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Butcher down.
Diaz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as The Butcher is landing a low percentage of strikes.
The Butcher blocks a head kick by Diaz.
Diaz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
The Butcher avoids a kick to the body.

The Butcher fails to land the takedown.
Diego Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz throws a hook but The Butcher blocks it.
Diaz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and The Butcher moves out of range easily.
Diaz cracks the inside of The Butcher's front leg.
Diaz throws a leg kick but The Butcher sees it coming and checks it nicely.

The Butcher scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Diaz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The Butcher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The Butcher tries to move into full mount but can't pass Diaz's legs.

The Butcher landing strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diaz is not content to let The Butcher control the position.

The Butcher looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Diaz gets back to half guard.
The Butcher trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away.
Diaz controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

The Butcher is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Diaz is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
