Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Doherty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman. Doherty has chosen Evil Boy as his entrance music. Luther Doherty has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Doherty using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Doherty drops Machado with a big knee straight up the middle! Machado is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
It looks like Johan Machado has been cut.
Machado is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doherty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Doherty scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Machado doesn't seem bothered though.
Doherty rushes Machado and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Machado is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Doherty pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Doherty lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A knee to the head by Doherty.
Doherty with the Thai clinch, moves his hips back and unleashes a brutal knee to the head! Machado drops to the mat in a crumpled heap! Huuuuuuge knee there! WOW!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Luther Doherty!
In his post fight interview, Luther Doherty started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
