The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compadre blocks the body kick.
Compadre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Santos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Compadre is looking for a sweep.
The ground and pound from Santos seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Santos is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Compadre is trying to escape and Santos transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Compadre is forced to tap! Nice work there by Santos! Very nice indeed!
