The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shipman moves in looking to clinch but Douhl pushes him off.
Douhl looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Shipman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Douhl as he jumps to the side.

Douhl moves into range and clinches up with Shipman.

Shipman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Douhl walks away with a smile on his face. Shipman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Shipman drags the fight down to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Douhl prevents Shipman from getting back to his feet.
Shipman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Douhl wants to get up but he can't break Shipman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Douhl is sitting in close to Shipman's body. Shipman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Douhl is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Douhl is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Shipman.
