The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didion has a takedown stuffed.
Boyka tries to clinch up but Didion circles away and keeps his distance.
Boyka slaps away a takedown attempt from Didion, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Didion misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Didion lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Boyka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boyka doesn't manage to clinch there - Didion circles away.
Didion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boyka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Boyka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Boyka gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Didion looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Boyka has picked Didion up and slammed him! Didion can't keep hold of the triangle and Boyka manages to pass to side control!
Boyka is looking to take a break and control but Didion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Didion is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Boyka off and has taken his back!
