The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard misses with a takedown attempt - Banks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Banks counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Banks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Leonard eats them both and turns towards Banks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Bam Bam Leonard has been cut.
Banks misses with a wild combination.
Leonard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banks sprawls well. Banks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Leonard gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bam Bam Leonard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Banks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Banks lands a left and a right that send Leonard crashing to the mat, dazed. Banks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

OH! Leonard has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Banks smells blood and charges in for the finish! Banks unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Leonard sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
