The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puuskanen shoots and misses
and Beleren connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Vili Puuskanen has been cut.
Jace Beleren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beleren lands a lovely overhand right.
Puuskanen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A jab from Beleren misses.
Beleren moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Puuskanen is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beleren is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Puuskanen flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Puuskanen is out cold! Beleren holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jace Beleren!
