Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Alvarez Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletus Kasady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banner comes into the arena with Seek and Destroy by Metallica blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banner gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Kasady tries to close the distance and clinch but Banner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kasady throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kasady tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Banner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Banner fails with the takedown.
Kasady swings for the body but Banner moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Banner stops a takedown attempt from Kasady.

Banner pulls guard successfully.
Kasady wants to control from the top but Banner keeps moving.
Banner wants to sweep but no luck.

Cletus Kasady has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Banner lands with a cross.
Kasady lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Banner circles away quickly and effectively.

Kasady tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Banner pushes Kasady up against the cage in a clinch.
Kasady throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Banner managing to block the knees to the body from Kasady.
Kasady has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Banner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kasady tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Banner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Banner misses with a few strikes there.

Banner moves into range and clinches up with Kasady.
Kasady wants to take the fight to the mat but Banner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bruce Alvarez Banner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cletus Kasady.

Kasady has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Banner clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kasady tries to get the hooks in deep but Banner pushed the leg off.
Banner breaks Kasady's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Kasady bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Banner's guard.

Banner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kasady defends well.

Kasady wants to control but Banner is keeping him busy.

Banner tries to roll over but Kasady keeps him under control.
Kasady seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Banner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kasady is trying to work for a kimura but Banner is defending well.
Banner is refusing to be controlled, as Kasady sits in half guard.
Banner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kasady's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kasady's back!
Kasady rolls, trying to escape but Banner keeps control of the position.

Banner has managed to slip his arm under Kasady's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kasady is tapping out! Submission win for Banner.
