Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Biacolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustafsson comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Omen. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Biacolo blocks the leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Biacolo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Biacolo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Erik Gustafsson.
