Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Obi Wan Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Faisal Alii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenobi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Alii counters with a stiff right hand.

Kenobi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Alii is looking for a triangle but Kenobi pushes his legs off easily.

Kenobi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alii has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kenobi has managed to get both his arms back between Alii's legs - danger averted.

Kenobi drops back looking for a leg! Alii is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alii manages to kick Kenobi off! Kenobi jumps back into Alii's guard.

Alii is looking for a triangle but Kenobi pushes his legs off easily.

Kenobi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kenobi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alii is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kenobi, into his guard.

Kenobi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alii doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alii manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kenobi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Alii thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kenobi looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alii is defending well. Kenobi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alii has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kenobi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
