The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ahai moves forwards but Silva connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Silva tries to clinch up but Ahai circles away and keeps his distance.

Ahai cracks a nice hook into Silva's ribs.

Silva has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ahai after a bit of a struggle.

Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ahai pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ahai uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Silva has time to react.

Silva wants to clinch up but Ahai keeps it at a distance.
Silva avoids a kick to the body.
Silva is looking to clinch but Ahai is avoiding it.
Silva throws a right hand that Ahai ducks under and follows up with a left that Ahai also avoids with ease.

Ahai lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Ahai takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ahai weaves into range and cracks Silva right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Silva goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Ahai is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
