Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Calia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smith fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kim Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Calia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Calia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Calia counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Calia avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Calia decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Calia throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Calia thows a huge punch but Smith dodges it nicely.
Calia seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Calia takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Calia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Calia cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Calia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Smith takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Calia's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
